An option for a performance will stay valid for 21 days without any further notice.
Booking for a live performance is, unless discussed otherwise, based on an hourly compensation for the artist, assuming the created caricatures will be distributed to the audience for free.
Booking for a fixed amount of hours with the option to extend on location is, provided there is sufficient interest, negotiable with the artist.
Outside performances should ideally be in a spot with plenty shelter. Excessive sunlight, rain, wind and cold are unacceptable working conditions.
Inside performances can take place in virtually all conditions. However, excessive noise and/or smoke is not acceptable.
For both outside and inside performances one needs to take into consideration the available space for audiences that want to watch the drawer. Prior consultation with the drawer about these issues can increase the success of the performance.
The client is responsible for the supply of power during a digital performance, an inside performance with insufficient natural light and an outside performance after sunset.
Copyright: drawings created during live performances are subject to copyright. There is no objection to publication on Social Media (e.g. Facebook) for private use. In case one wishes to use a drawing for official publications, approval from the artist is required.
We oblige ourselves to comply with all agreed upon arrangements. In case of cancellation on behalf of Karikaturen-online the aim is to arrange for a substitute. In case this proves impossible, the client can ask for compensation. In case of cancellation on behalf of the client within 30 days of the scheduled date of performance, the client is liable to pay 70% of the agreed upon price.
Terms and conditions ‘caricature webshop’
Upon receiving your request via the request form you are kindly asked to send us (ideally) multiple digital pictures of the subject to info@karikaturen-online.nl.
After processing your order you will receive a digital message containing all information with regards to payment and/or an invoice which will be sent after the drawing process has started.
Standard rates apply to all deliveries of orders made in the caricature shop.
In case of an 'express order' (preferred delivery within 5 days) a surcharge will be applied.
Postage takes place after receiving payment or as prior discussed with the client.
Delivery of preliminary sketches of the caricature is not included in the standard rates.
Colour caricatures will be sent exclusively digitally via email or 'wetransfer' in high resolution (300 dpi), in large and small formats. The large format is suitable for all possible purposes. An extra large format can be provided free of charge upon request.
After receipt of the colour caricature small adjustments can be made once, free of charge.
Terms and conditions 'Workshop caricature drawing'
An option for a workshop will stay valid for 21 days without further notice.
Workshops are suitable for groups of 10-40 people. Prior drawing experience is not necessary, duration 3-4 hours. Location: anywhere where sufficient chairs and tables are available.
Karikaturen-online supplies drawing paper, drawing boards (if required) and a variety of drawing materials.
The client is responsible for the supply of power.
Participants have ownership over caricatures created by them.
Drawings that have been created by the drawer during a workshop are subject to copyright. There is no objection to publication on Social Media (e.gy. Facebook) for private use. In case one wishes to use a drawing for official publications, approval from the artist is required.

After paying and receiving the caricature via the webshop the client will be granted the one-off exclusive right to print and publish: a so called shared copyright. There is no objection to publication on Social Media (e.g. Facebook) for private use.
In case the client wishes to use the drawing(s) for any other purpose than the previously agreed upon, approval from the drawer should be obtained. Examples are reproductions, modifications, distributions, publications or other commercial purposes. The general copyright remains with the artist. For the use of caricatures of famous people, clients should always contact Karikaturen-Online.
The artist is at all times allowed to sign his work with name and date.
